Brazil vs. CIV at Cafe Tropicalia Brazilian Grill:

I checked out the second half of Brazil versus the Ivory Coast at a Brazilian restaurant. I walked in as Brazil scored their second goal. The place erupted. It was awesome. Ben came with me. This picture of Ben was taken somewhere else. Ben is going to edit DanEats.

Tropicalia Brazilian Grill is a good Brazilian restaurant that served a predictable World Cup breakfast. Plantain and eggs. Maybe throw in a sausage. A breakfast with eggs works in any country. I opted for the Tropicalia salad which is one the best salads in town. Lettuce, grilled steak, fried polenta strips, black beans, corn, shredded cheese, and a Malagueta and cilantro dressing. Also got a side of pao de quejo. All the ingredients work well together. The only problem about Tropicalia is whenever I go I can’t help but douse my food with the Salsa Tropicalia. It’s basically a sea foam green colored chimichurri sauce with loads of garlic. I spend the rest of my day burping and then exhaling fire into the world. Not fair for anyone.

Tropicalia excels in serving good Brazilian food in an ideal setting to watch Brazil play in the World Cup.  Brazil plays Friday at 7am PST. I might have to pass through.
