Pulling Pork With Bootsy:

I met Bootsy the other day for lunch at The Park in Echo Park. We sat in their front patio for around two hours eating sandwiches and drinking iced coffee/tea. I have been looking for a place like this on this side of town.

Pulled Pork: A good pulled pork on a brioche bun from a non barbecue restaurant.

Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: They use grilled chicken doused in buffalo wing sauce and top it with fried onion strings. It was good but sometimes the bun got in the way of the rest of the sandwich.

BLT: This is what a BLT should look like. Thick cut bacon and perfectly toasted bread.

Iced Coffee: One of the best iced coffee’s in town.

This place is also open for brunch and dinner. On Wednesday they do a five dollar burger night which I am sure is good. The Park might be a cheaper east side alternative to Square One’s brunch.
