Opening Ceremony Parking Lot Party:

Opening Ceremony threw a party in their parking lot for a project they did with Spike Jonze, You Me and La Cienega, the air dancers behind Humberto. The food was prepared by Wendy Leon and Heidi Lim. Who also happen to be Humberto and Carol’s mothers. The taco on the left was carne asada with a chimichurri sauce and on the right was pork with mango and tomato salsa. Both tacos were good but I kept going back for the carne asada. I think I think I had five of them.

Humberto is holding Peruvian beef heart. An off menu item that he shared with us. Incredibly tender and good but I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to swallow it at first.
