Pampas Grill at the Farmer’s Market:
Last week Heron came out from New York to hang out with the bruce’s and go to Coachella. It was his first time in Los Angeles since he was a teenager. Luckily for him David and I had some vacation days saved up so we were able to show him around.
Pampas Grill at the Farmer’s Market is one of my favorite places to get lunch. It is a Brazilian grill/buffet at the Farmer’s Market at The Grove. Anytime I can get multiple kinds of grilled meat and determine the size of my own portions I am psyched. Pampas allows me to do just that. The only problem with the place is that at 7.99 a pound the lunch can get expensive if you don’t know what you are doing. I try to keep my plate at around $8.50 but sometimes I get into the uncomfortable $15 range.
I opted for the garlic beef, spicy chicken, banana squash, green beans, collard greens, and sole. What you don’t see on my plate are the Pampas Grill. That is because the pao de queijo are supposed to be eaten while you are in line at Pampas Grill.
If you ever have a hankering for grilled meat you must try Pampas Grill. The options are great and with ten other food establishments at the Farmer’s Market it’s easy to please everyone else in your party.
