DanEats Cheap in Palm Springs:
Sometimes you want to go out for some food and a drink but your checking account(what savings?) doesn’t agree with you. Mexican restaurants provide a solution to your problem because for the price of a margarita you get unlimited chips and salsa. I know it’s not a four course meal, but who hasn’t filled themselves up on chips before?
Last time I was in Palm Springs for Coachella I went to El Mirasol Regional Cuisine of Mexico for lunch and found it to be decent, but completely overpriced at around eighteen dollars an entree for dinner. Lunch prices weren’t bad. Feeling the effects of Morongo, Deering and I stopped in to re-calibrate our brains. The key limes in the margarita were an unusual touch that benefited the flavor. The chips and salsa were endless and free. Overall a win in my book.
