Taqueria De Marin Kentfield:

Taqueria De Mexican Kentfield is the place where my Mexican obsession really took off.  I would eat here every Thursday after school in seventh and eighth grade. The giant burrito was standard but I occasionally mixed it up with the chimichanga. Amazingly the prices have not changed since I was twelve years old.

On this day I got a giant carnitas burrito. This was the first place I ever ate carnitas and to this day they make some of the best. Most importantly, they have mastered the art of evenly distributing all the ingredients in the burrito so you taste each one in every bite. That is crucial when you are dealing with sour cream and guacamole in a burrito.

Word on the street is College of Marin is going to bulldoze this place as part of their campus expansion. Shame on College of Marin if this is the case. Hopefully Taqueria De Marin Kentfield will find a new location.
