Yosemite Falls:

My Dad, Michael, and Nat attempted to hike up Yosemite Falls on our second day in Yosemite. I say attempt because their was too much snow to make it all the way to the top. Instead we went hiked out to the middle of the falls, which are normally closed off to hikers because of too much water. You can see my Dad with the mountain of ice that formed because it was so cold. It was an incredible hike and if you can see from the rocks a little bit hairy.

After a hike like this the only way to reward yourself is with a beer and some chocolate? The beer for sure. The Mountain Room Lounge at the Yosemite Lodge provided us a place to rest our feet and enjoy a brew. My brew of choice was an IPA from the Mammoth Brewing Company and the chocolate was from Endangered Species Chocolate.
