Taco Zone Truck:
Julia has been touting Taco Zone ever since she found out about my love of Mexican food. It was late and I needed dinner so it was finally time to check it out. This truck is only open at night and word is the later you go the busier it gets.
I had a suadero quesadilla, carne asada taco, carnitas taco, and a horchata. The suadero had great flavor. Miranda recommended I get in the quesadilla because the melted cheese helps out the dryness. A very smart recommendation. The carne asada was good and in my search for the best carnitas in Los Angeles, Taco Zone turned out to be average. The Horchata was on point.
I have not had sampled enough taco trucks in Los Angeles to properly rank Taco Zone. The quesadilla was better than the tacos. Julia told me their best item is the lengua taco, but I received the recommendation via bbm too late. I will be going back to Taco Zone when I need an east side taco fix but I am curious to find out what else is out there.
