I went to Picco in Larkpsur when I was in Marin. It is a sharing restaurant so the approach to ordering is very different than what I am used to. I have a hard time sharing food but going into the meal knowing that I am going to share makes it a lot easier for me. The food was really good. I went with my Michael and my Mom. Sharing all the dishes allowed for a very spirited conversation about what we liked best. If you are in Marin you should definitely try it.

Get a table in the main dining room because a table by the bar is too loud and distracting. You want to be able to enjoy the food and your company with no outside noise. We had to contend with a couple playing pocket pool and breaking vodka bottles. Classy.
