I walked into the deli on East Broadway and Jefferson today and saw a group of four hispanic men chatting away in the middle of the store. They appeared to be in there sixties and were drinking coffee and eating assorted pastries packaged in plastic. It appeared as if they have done this for years. When I was younger and my Mom would take us to MacDonald’s for breakfast their was a group of old men who sat and talked for hours every time I went in. I want to have a tradition like this when I am older.
