Guigni W F & Son Grocery Co in St. Helena makes the perfect deli sandwich. It’s actually not that hard to do, but 99% of delis mess it up. All it takes is fresh baked bread, a pile of cold cuts, and some extra condiments to spice things up. The sandwich consisted of salami, lettuce, red onion, mayo, whole grain mustard, horseradish, and Guigni’s special dressing. I also ordered a deviled egg on the side. I have no restraint when it comes to deviled eggs. Any time I see one I have to try it.

Guigni’s had a wide selection of bread, but I could not pass up the Dutch Crunch. Dutch Crunch is the only bread I know of with two crusts. Dutch Crunch was a staple of my deli sandwich experience growing up, but I never saw it on the East coast, come to find out it is regional to the Northern California.
